In recent years, domestic coastal areas have actively responded to the call for targeted assistance to Xinjiang, encouraging local enterprises to "go global", while expanding the total amount, expanding the space for benefit allocation, actively exploring a sharing mechanism for resource complementarity and industrial gradient transfer for both coastal and Xinjiang, and finding a new path of mutual support and common prosperity for targeted assistance to Xinjiang. The first meter of printed and dyed fabric in the history of Bachu in Xinjiang will be born
The Xinjiang Kashgar Bachu County, supported by Shanghai, has a cotton planting area of 1.24 million mu, making it the largest cotton planting area in the Kashgar region and the largest cotton trading center in the southern Xinjiang region.
Although it has the advantage of cotton production areas, in the past, the development of local industries mostly focused on the initial processing of raw materials such as cotton trading, spinning, and weaving, making it difficult to create higher industrial added value.
With the arrival of a new batch of Shanghai aid teams in Xinjiang, the printing and dyeing park of Bachu Industrial Park, covering an area of 2914 acres, has begun to take shape.
The first printing and dyeing technology company introduced from Shanghai has also been finalized, with a planned investment of 1 billion yuan and an annual printing and dyeing capacity of 20000 tons of knitted fabrics. This also means that the first meter of printed and dyed fabric in the history of Bachu is about to be born here.
The Xinjiang Printing and Dyeing Factory invested by Hangzhou Enterprise has started production! A production capacity of 6 million spindles will be built
As early as the end of last year, the Xinjiang printing and dyeing factory invested by Hangzhou's counterpart Hangzhou enterprises also started production! On December 28, 2022, the sound of machines in Aksu Youlian Textile Factory was booming, and the 1.5 meter wide red polyester elastic fabric on all sides continuously "spewed out" from the production line. This also marked the successful installation and commissioning of the first batch of equipment in Aksu Youlian Textile Factory, and the official start of production.
Li Jianfang, Chairman of Aksu Youlian Textile Technology Co., Ltd., stated that all six molding machines in one workshop of Phase I have been installed, and this production line can process up to 60000 meters of raw fabric per day. This trial production will continue until January 10th next year, producing a total of 1 million meters of fabric, including polyester four sided elastic, T/R four sided elastic, artificial cotton, all cotton, nylon cotton, etc. These fabrics will not only be supplied to mainland manufacturers, but also exported to Central Asian countries such as Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
It is expected that by June, all 16 shaping machines in the two production workshops of the first phase will be put into operation, reaching an annual production scale of 110 million meters for dyeing shuttle weaving and 11000 tons for knitted fabrics.
Coincidentally, Aksu Pan Textile Co., Ltd. settled in Aksu Textile Industrial City (Development Zone) in July 2021 and plans to invest 150 million yuan in the construction of a 250000 spindle spinning 1018 loom project. The project started construction in July 2021, and after all are completed and put into operation, it is expected to achieve an annual production of 30000 tons of various types of yarn, 100 million meters of weaving, and a production value of 700 million yuan, driving employment of over 800 people.
Aksu is located in southern Xinjiang, and how to rely on resource endowments to strengthen and supplement the chain has always been a major issue facing the local area. Last year, Tiancheng Textile, Pan's Textile, Shengyuan Textile, and Youlian Textile from Xiaoshan District successively settled in Aksu Textile Industrial City, bringing a complete textile industry chain from Xiaoshan District to the local area. In July 2022, the Hangzhou Yiniu Chemical Fiber 50000 ton nylon chemical fiber textile project began construction in Aksu. After production, it is expected that the annual total output value will be about 1.5 billion yuan, driving employment of about 1000 people, effectively filling the gap in nylon materials in the Aksu region, and accelerating the construction of the entire textile and clothing industry chain.
The entry of coastal textile printing and dyeing enterprises into Xinjiang has filled the gap in the weaving and knitted fabric dyeing and finishing industries, further strengthening the spinning and weaving industries, and laying a solid foundation for the high-quality development of the textile and clothing industry in Xinjiang and the construction of a high-quality fabric base in the northwest region.
